In a sentimental reflex a the Parish Council Mrs A found herself arguing that the Parish Council shouldn’t stand by and let us lose the never used phone box in our village. Apart from the Post Box, Village Hall and Church it is our only other vestige of public service in Glentworth. The article tells us:
“There are more than 45,000 phone boxes in the UK but BT is planning to remove a third of them.” The video which accompanies the story is well worth a look!!!
