Man jailed for breaking into police station and cooking ravioli and Weetabix

This story brought a smile to my face – I liked the idea of a cereal offender! It tells us:

A man has been jailed for three months after breaking into Oxgangs Police Station and helping himself to a mixture of pasta, Weetabix and milk which he heated in a saucepan.

Officers investigating an alarm at the empty building found someone had broken a window to gain entry and later discovered the 38-year-old making the unusual breakfast in the kitchen, who had told them he was hungry.

The man previously admitted to breaking into the very same station in August 2013 to steal food and milk, and on this occasion was jailed for three months and released on bail pending reports.
