Halloween

Ill let you into a secret – this time of year in the UK is about bonfire night, not the ersatz Halloween, “trick or treat”, phoney, dumbed down approach to the end of autumn which is foisted on our children by the transatlantic mind police who condition far too much of their behavior. Whilst I therefore feel sorry for the pumpkin growers themselves, featured in this article, I shed not a single tear for any diminution of this recent over-blown re-invention of a pagan festival. Bahh Humbug. I can feel myself getting into the groove for Christmas, which starts in the shops (with Garden Centres in the van) next week!!
